Hi, I'm Carlie
Welcome to my little corner of the book world! I'm oh so happy you found your way here.
I've always believed there's a special kind of magic tucked between the pages of a good book. Sometimes it's an unforgettable adventure, sometimes it's a character who feels like an old friend, and sometimes it's simply the comfort of knowing someone else has felt exactly what you're feeling.
My own reading journey has been filled with all of those moments. Over the years, books have become my favorite escape, my greatest teachers, and a constant companion. Somewhere along the way, recommending books became almost as exciting as reading them myself.
These days, you'll most often find me reaching for romance that makes my heart ache in the best way, fantasy that whisks me off on impossible adventures, classics that have stood the test of time, and stories that celebrate voices from every walk of life. My TBR grows much faster than I can read it...but I wouldn't have it any other way.
When I'm not lost in a novel, you'll probably find me with an ice cold cola nearby, admiring a shelf full of beautiful book spines, or convincing myself that buying "just one more book" is always a perfectly reasonable decision.
I'm so grateful you're here, and I hope you find a story that feels like it was waiting just for you.
Happy Reading!
Carlie
What's Our Story?
Every great story begins with a single page, and Found & Fable began with a simple dream.
I wanted to create the kind of bookstore I always hoped to stumble upon—a cozy place that feels like it's been quietly waiting for you all along. The kind where every shelf holds a new adventure, every recommendation is chosen with care, and every visit feels a little like coming home.
The name Found & Fable carries that dream in just two words. Found is the joy of discovering the story you didn't know you were looking for—the one that stays with you long after you've turned the last page. Fable is a celebration of storytelling itself: the wonder, imagination, and quiet wisdom that books have shared for generations.
Rather than trying to offer every book ever printed, my goal is to thoughtfully curate a collection you'll genuinely be excited to explore. From sweeping romances and enchanting fantasy worlds to timeless classics, beloved banned books, and charming reading accessories, every item has been chosen with readers in mind.
Found & Fable is more than a bookstore to me. It's an invitation to slow down, pour another cup of tea, wander through stories at your own pace, and rediscover the simple joy of getting lost in a really good book.
So, whether you've arrived searching for your next favorite read or simply browsing for a little while, welcome. Pull up a cozy chair, stay as long as you'd like, and let's find your next great story together.
Every story deserves to be found
